
Bio
Alicia Tan is a writer and editor who has worked in media and publishing for about a decade. She has held editorial roles at The Today Show as an Editor and Associate Commerce Editor, HarperCollins as an Assistant Editor, Abrams as an Editorial Assistant and Managing Editorial Assistant, and elsewhere. Her creative work has been supported by Disquiet International, and her chapbook, Catalog / Anatomy, was a finalist for the 128 LIT International Chapbook Contest. She has also taught English courses to students of all ages, including composition and creative writing to undergraduates, storytelling to elementary and middle schoolers, and writing and publishing to adults. She received her Bachelor of Journalism from University of Missouri and her Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing-Fiction at Oklahoma State University.

She is currently at work on a cross-genre collection about womanhood, bodies, desire, and diaspora called I Didn't Ask to Have a Body and is seeking representation.
